Mike McQuatters is one of the most decorated youth soccer
players ever to come out of the Syracuse area.  He played for the
first Syracuse Blitz team.  His Blitz Magic team won 9 state cup
championships, and was a regional finalist twice.  He made the
Varsity Soccer Team at CBA as an 8th Grader.  Mike started every
game of his varsity career, and captained the team for an
unprecedented 4 years.  He won 3 Sectional Championships, and
in his senior year, he led his team to the State Championship.  Mike
is the only boy’s soccer player at CBA to make All-American.
Throughout his youth, Mike was a member of the ODP program,
where former US National Team coach Bruce Arena, and current
Men’s National Team Coach Bob Bradley, coached him.  He
captained the Region 1 Regional ODP Team for 3 years.  Mike also
played for and captained the US Under 18 National Team in 1996
and 1997.  On that team, he played with current US men’s national
team players Tim Howard, Steve Cherundolo, and Carlos
Bocanegra.  He was a USA Today Top 25 Recruit and Soccer
America Super 11 Recruit in his senior year of high school.  He
went on to play at a college soccer powerhouse, the University of
Virginia.  There, he won an ACC championship and was an NCAA
Division 1 National Runner-Up.

Mike is currently the Head Coach of the CBA Girls' Varsity Soccer
Team, where he has lead the team to national rankings during the
season in 2 of his first 3 years.  He also led the team to a Sectional
Championship in 2005.  Mike has been coaching boys' and girls'
teams of all ages for the past 11 years.  He took over his first club
team when he was only 18 years old.  He has won 5 state cup
championships, and led a team to the regional finals.  Many of his
former players have gone on to play college soccer.  He previously
coached the Under 16 Boys Syracuse FC Team, and was the
Assistant Coach of the Under 14 Girls Syracuse FC Team.
