8/1/08: Jessica was selected as one of three soccer
players in her age group from New York West to be on
the Us Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program
Region 1 Team!  See her name on the list

6/3/08: Jessica's soccer team won State Cup.....again!

here.  Jess scored 7 goals in the
championships, and had 3 assists.  Jimmy and I had fun
cheering from the sidelines - even in the rain!  She was
chosen for the Olympic Development Program again
this year, so she will be attending the Olympic ID Camp
in July.  I am so proud of her!  Way to go, Jess!  

6/1/08: Recently, at a symposium for parents of children
with disabilities held at the Institute for Human
Performance, I was asked to write a brief article with a
positive outlook for new parents of a child with
disabilities.  The article was published in Exceptional
Family Resource's Newsletter.  I will add the link once it
is posted on-line!

5/08: Johns Hopkins Kennedy Krieger Institute  
published a two-page article on Jimmy's story in their
national developmental disability publication,
Potential.

6/07: Jessica's soccer team was the first soccer team
from New York State to EVER win the Region 1 National
Championship Series!  Further, Jess was the top
scorer in all age groups, girls and boys, with a "hat
trick" in the Finals!  Read more, and watch her news
